What is goSupermodel?

goSupermodel is a safe online community for teenage girls. The community is centred on creativity, fun & friends and offers a free and safe environment for your child.

In the fictive girl universe of goSupermodel your child creates her own fashion model, builds social relations with other girls, and explores her creativity through games, competitions & user generated content.

Does it cost anything?

It doesn't cost anything to create a model and to use it on goSupermodel. The girls earn and win virtual money called goMoney in the various games and competitions, and these are used to buy new clothes or upgrades for the model.

Things you can do as a parent

Our main focus is to create a nice and safe atmosphere, which is free and open to every girl who respects our user guidelines that specify what kind of behaviour we accept on goSupermodel.

However, in spite of our extensive safety measures, we cannot guarantee absolute safety. It is important that our users are mindful about their online behaviour. Through campaigns on the site we do a lot to educate on safe online behaviour, but we still encourage you to show interest in your child's virtual life; surf around the site with your child, look through her profile and talk about good online behaviour:

• The importance of a good password (and proper ways of keeping it safe)
• That bullying and teasing is not okay online just as in real life
• That she should never reveal personal information to others
• The importance of respecting others even though she may not agree with them or share their views
• Always talk to someone and ask for help if needed
